This car should be burned. Or raced in lemons, but isn't that the same thing.

So you've got a 230hp (how does one gain nearly 100hp from cams, cam gears, head work, and poorly designed exhaust?) Neon and you won't put a $59 timing belt on it?
Yet, you've got a couple of hundred pounds of useless bits of plastic and fiberglass on the car and several cans of cheap primer that you're wet sanding off the car.
Good lord, this sort of laziness just chaps my hide.

That yellow paint haphazardly applied in the vicinity of the engine should easily add 70 HP and then the other 30 is from overspray.
But it has THE BEST throttle response!
And it has awesome paint, and the primer is coming off just fine!
What a deal!

You forgot about the sweet "cold air" intake. That's worth at least 20hp!

The sad thing is that this guy is probably serious. He probably really believes that it's got 230hp and that all of the mods he's done really make his car worth more.
The $59 cam belt story is, more than likely, to lure in a buyer who has more enthusiasm than actual car knowledge or common sense.
In all fairness a real acr with an intake and exhaust will run a high 14. If the cams were the real deal it might be faster.
But its likely NOT true, especially of this car
I've got no love for the Neon ACR. SCCA's admission of that car single-handedly ruined Showroom Stock forever. It deserves to be humiliated like this. LeMons is too good for it.
