it is still amazing to see what they got that thing to do, it seemed to be running rather decently, looked like the AI knew a thing or two about line selection and the dynamics of the car close to or at the limit, color me impressed,
I don't care if it can autox faster than me....I'd still rather do my own driving.
I like the idea of driving when it's fun. If I'm droning on down to Atlanta from Richmond - Auto pilot please.
If I'm running around VIR I want that all to my greedy little self.
technically speaking i'm quite impressed.
what horrifies me is the inevitable govt regulation brought on by the safety nannies who know better preventing us, the apparent minority, from 'unsafely' driving without this technology.

This. I love to drive. I hate to drive to work and back.
Strangely I have no problem with this, provided I am not required to drive one. Most of the people out there are terrible drivers I am sure having a computer take over for them would represent a vast improvement in total safety.
Besides if one of your friends has one you will never again be in an argument as to who is the designated driver.

You don't have the right roads in-between your house and work then.
