In some parts of the site, "Volkswagen" is listed but when I click on it, then click on beetle, nothing happens...
Using your above link I have a Volkswagen selection and show 19 pages of early VW's.....
Maybe the search area is too narrow?

Looks like mostly lots selling cars to me. Most of the VW are newer (of course, anything after 69 is "newer" to me).

You probably scrolled down too far.
The top 20 or so makers are "Top Makes", and Volkswagon is in that group. Everything else in the long list is "Other Makes", and Volkswagon is not in there.
Goofy listing structure, pretty much guaranteed to frustrate people.
They are trying to tell you something.

No kidding. I actually helped run the previous AutoTrader Classics site. The "new and improved site" was done after I left and it makes me weep. Like building a custom car and selling it to some kid who immediately runs it into a tree.
