Awesomeness.
Fun Fact: I remember reading, the Siata was the first sports car McQueen bought when he just started to earn some real money.
Why no one does a proper Miata based Siata replica is beyond me.
The car is stunning.

One of my all time favorite cars. This one is gorgeous!
I thought I knew every hot car known to man, but I'd never heard of a Siata.

I wonder what the Siata's wheelbase is. Hmmm...
it's signicantly smaller than a Miata.. probably around Midget sized with it's 90in wheelbase.

Miata: 89.2" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_MX-5
Siata: 90.5" http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=43967
Wow, that's pretty close! That's one kit car I'd buy for sure.
Yeah, it looks great. But what engine is in that? Is that a swapped V8?
David
that is an all aluminum 2.0 Fiat V8... stock from the factory, about 100hp.. in the siata.. up to 140hp. Supposedly one was built with a chrysler lump.. but all the rest had the same engine as the fiat otto vu as Siata was well versed in taking Fiat parts and turning them into beautiful cars
