I want to buy them all and sell none.
I go through a bunch of cars but seem to set on one for a long time. Then I get to about 350,000 miles on it before I feel the urge! I bought a new 1995 Mustang that never really clicked with me. I bought a 91 Escort that just hit all my buttons...and this was 12 years ago.
Still have the Escort as a daily and it has survived a wide variety of "new" cars. Couple of Ranger trucks, Miata (automatic), numerous Fox body Mustangs, 72 Cougar, Taurus, 91 Capri, 67 Mustang fastback, 87 Turbo coupe, P71s, 97 Mustang Cobra and so on. The Escort just sat by and felt like a comfortable shoe for the last 12 years and 280,000 miles!

I'm in the 200+ club. The longest I've ever kept a car, ever, was an '05 GTO I bought new. I kept that car for four years. That's the longest by almost double. Next is my '98 Jaguar XJR (30 months) that I still have, '09 MINI Cooper S (2 years), and '02 BMW M3 (23 months). Oh! I'm at 23 months with my current '15 Abarth 500. I think the primary reason my Fiat and my Jaguar have stuck around is because I was playing so hard with motorcycles the past couple years. And in the past, let's say, three years, I've done 9 motorcycles.
It's super rare for me to keep a car longer than a year. Ordinarily, I'll rotate one out every three months or so, owning 3 or 4 at a time. I get caught in the, "I like this car so maybe I'll get some cool parts for it," transitioning to the, "The exhaust and the short shifter for this car are going to be $1,100 all together. I can buy a V8 Mercedes for that. To Craigslist!"
I'm most definitely more of a driver than a builder. I can have fun with almost anything I own or drive, but there is so much out there and I want to try it all!
I used to be in the "swap every 6 months club" but that was when I could only have a couple of cars at a time. Now I'm in the "keep as many as you can club" and have 40 or so (including motorcycles). I have auto ADD, so a variety keeps me interested and happy. That being said, 40ish is a challenge, so I'm trying to get down to 30 or so. We'll see if I can do it. I also love buying and hate selling, which complicates things.
