This probably won't help.
Bah there's a FD for sale locally that's I use to remind myself of why I'm in school. Its soooooooooooo clean and well modded that I can't help but drool.
I DD'd a non-turbo one for a couple years and although it had it's fun aspects, the combination of hardly any power and crap gas mileage (22 combined when driving conservatively) kinda started rubbing me the wrong way after a while. With the exceptions of being FWD and perhaps styling, the contemporaneous GD body cars (88-92 626 and MX6) are much better vehicles in every respect. I will get my rotary fix from my FD, thank you.
I'm sort of trying to sell my FC Turbo (picture in my profile). So far the one guy who seemed really interested in it decided to buy a series 5 TII instead. I could start another Craigslist rant here, but I won't. I am, however, completely tired of kids offering me 50% of my asking price out of the gate.

Phew! That was close, for a minute there i thought you were within a couple hours of me.
I want an FC Turbo in a very bad way.

I am a couple of hours away... by airplane! I've driven the car 70 miles recently, and if it can go 70 miles, it can go further
My lust for an SA/FB is becoming overpowering... I have a line on a 1980 LS that is driving me crazy.

Is it Solar Gold, and in Ohio? If so you have good taste. If I didn't already have my 78 SA, I would buy that car.

If you get the urge this spring/summer you are welcome to come south to cranberry country, and take mine for a spin. It isn't fast, but it looks cool, and runs great.
Chris
holy crap that is the best offer I've ever had! You can take my R3 for a spin, too! It's also not very fast, but it handles great, and 9000 rpm is awesome!
Someday i'll have some extra money to buy, and a place to park/work on an RX7 or older rotary... someday... I can't even check the oil in (or open the hood, or use a jack unless to change a flat tire) my 8 or my van according to my appartment lease without the parking nazi's towing my car, and they certainly would.

I have been wanting an R3 for quite some time anyway,so that would be fun to actually drive one. I owned an 04 base model 6-speed RX-8 for one year, and I loved it. I can only imagine the R3 is even better. When the salt is gone, come on down.
