Today's junkyard score isn't something I need or something to sell. It's just for looking at.
I may hang it on the wall in the garage or put glass over it and make it into a coffee table somehow. But I've always thought the SHO had a neat looking intake manifold, and now I own one. I rule.

Back when engines weren’t covered with plastic. It’s almost a work of art. You can tell the designers were proud of their work.
(Generally, though not mine) women like jewelry, men like... other things.

That is a nice score! Automotive Art! Too bad Formula 1 cars can't be found in a junkyard, I'd love some front or rear wings or exhaust manifold for art from those.

I agree. My Chevy TPI manifold makes me wish it didn't suck at being an intake manifold because it looks awsome.

Like that’s something odd?
I have an attic and basement full of Datsun 240Z parts.
LOL!
I bought a fiberglass nose cone for a Williams FW07 at an estate sale for $30.
Should have bought the whole engine.

I would have loved to get the whole engine. But the car had no significant body damage, so I figured it was even money that the engine was the reason it was in the junkyard.
It's a 5-speed car, too. Shame it ended up this way.
