That wheel isn't unique to super sciroccos. It is the standard '75 to mid 76 'rocco steering wheel. I have bought and sold 2 dozen of those things in the last 10 years. Even in rough shape if they have the horn button I was getting $150 a piece. I slapped a black on on ebay 2 years ago and the winning bid was $312 plus shipping to germany! They are very desireable. I myself don't care for the feel. Too skinny and way to large of a diameter but what I DO like in this pic is the early turn signal/wiper stalks.
Yeah, I sold one of those wheels on ebay for ~$100 about a year ago - the diameter is a little too large - with the VW steering racks I felt like I needed something I could spin a little quicker.
Very cool car...
BTW, there's a 1980 Scirocco at the Arlington, WA, Pick-and-Pull (fmly. Pull-a-Part), in case there are any PNW-based readers tuning in here...

Sorry I am a bit of a early A1 VW geek. Does the cigarette lighter have a zippo style lighter on it or a cigarette?
Thanks for the info guys! I wasn't aware that that wheel came on other Sciroccos. It is in great shape, and the horn button still operates!
The cigarette lighter is a push-button deal, and has no markings on it. It is just a plain black button. It doesn't appear that the logo had been worn off, but I suppose that is possible.
Another weird thing is the rear wiper is operated with a toggle switch on the dash. Kinda cool.
I don't suppose anyone knows where I can find a set of the wing windows? The PO says the owner before him may still have the windows. I'm crossing my fingers as I'm sure they are hard to find.
