I pick up this bad boy on Thursday... after a decade... no more sleeping on the ground or drilling holes in the floor boards to let the water out of the racecar. Whoohoo!

Very nice. How long? How much weight empty? How much does the race car weigh? And last but not least what are you towing it with?

20x8.5, 3150lbs empty... I figure about 6200 total with car, tools and equipment. I could load it up more pretty easily but I'm pulling it with a 2000 4.7L Tundra using a weight distro hitch with anti-sways - the truck is capped at 7100lbs and I want to stay under that a little. It's not the ideal tow vehicle - but it will do fine as long as I make sure I load correctly and take my time. I can't afford a new rig right now so I will make due and not bring as much extra crap with me as I normally would. The one big issue is going to be fuel mileage - I used to drain a 27 gallon tank in 240 miles pulling an open trailer. I expect that to be a lot worse yanking a huge box thru the wind.
