...and it was everything I dreamed it would be. Tom gave me the nickel tour, secretaries (and Tommy) recognized but mispronounced my name (for the record it is WŌ-wæk, not WOU-eck), Margie threatened to choke me over the website, Per gave me a case of beer, and JG and I argued over if Baxter was a nerd, geek, or dork. It was like a dream come true.
According to my wife, dork.
why do you have a plant coming out of your hood?

All the best 'hoods have "plants" growing in them. Where've you been?
Wowak, your Miata almost makes me think I should have held out for a BRG Elan.

Sometimes I wish I'D held out for a BRG Elan.
But then I remember that I drive a Miata, and I'm happy once again.

We're glad you came by. We're still moving in here and there, but the office is definitely starting to feel like home.
I wish I had more time to shoot the breeze, but we're in the busiest portion of the production cycle. Most of us were knee-deep in the final stages of proofreading for the October issue of GRM.
Oh, and next time, set an alarm for the Autocross!

I did set an alarm. Or so I thought. Since I'm staying with friends given my current transient situation, I didn't bother to unpack my alarm clock, I just set the one in the room. It did not perform its solitary task. Sadly it looks like I'll be moving to Nashville before the Palm Bay event on the 3rd.. and that means I'll be one event shy of trophy eligibility, meaning all I had to do was show up on Sunday to clinch 1st place for the year in STS2, and instead I'll get zip.
