The original purchase price is but a small part of the cost of owning older British cars.... 
Imps are fantastic. A lot of stuff in that bundle which is both good and bad. I wonder though for the same price if you could import a decent one from the UK.

TBH I doubt that these days you can find a good Imp in the UK for $5k...
I know of a VERY nice on in NWOhio for $5500, I have eyed it for awhile but can't bring myself to do it.
It looks like what would happen if a 2002 was put in a crusher the wrong way on a cartoon show.
