I will do that. Or you could just send them to me...

LuLz. I spent too much time looking for these to do that. And then what would I do with the tophat adapters?

There is a huge aftermarket for it as well. also comes with 4 wheel disk brakes most other cars in this price range have rear drums. Mine is a first gen and they are the best looking ones as well. I got mine for $2400 with only 145k miles on it too. Many examples out there for under $3500 as well. Did I mention how great it is to drive? it gets even better after you put Eibachs and Konis on it too...... Chris Rummel

I did not need to hear this, I just picked up an 06 3i 5speed, 2300 with 156k. I've been trying to resist modding it. first autocross in 8 years this weekend, what could possibly go wrong?

Do it you won't regret it.....I have a set of hotckiss sway bars from the tire rack sitting in the garage to go on and a TWM short shifter too. Need some decent weather to put them on since my garage is so cramped. I also just put in a corksport lower tranny mount as well. bumped the timing up, and removed the main intake resonator, then ran some flexhose down from the stock airbox to pick up cooler air. As well as it handles now, it should be on rails after the sway bars are in....

Hmm...You need a cheap car, not too set on make/model, and live in Atlanta. You should be all set by noon today.

Years ago I was grumbled a little when Enterprise put me in a first gen Mazda 3 with 50k miles when I had reserved a full size car. Turned out to be one of the best cars I ever rented. I was sad to turn it back in and I've never driven one since.

Pontiac Vibe.

My Dad bought a 100k+ 3 pedaled base model (2006 I think?) Vibe a little over four years and it serves as his everyday vehicle. It now sits around 160k and he has had to do NOTHING but oil changes and a set of tires. He tells me it gets around 30MPG in the city and closer to 40 on the highway. I'm always amazed at how much space there is in that thing too.

For more fun, there's the GT model, which sounds like it has similar reliability and gets a tad less MPG's.

You might also be able to find an early Honda Fit (07-08) for under $4k. I have a 3 pedaled 2008 "Sport and it fits (no pun intended) your criteria. I like it, but sometimes wish I would've held out for a Vibe GT instead...

I agree with this and the Mazda 3 suggestion. The Vibe GT has turned out to be a pretty entertaining car to drive around in the winter for me and I love the Mazda 3 platform in hatchback form.
