I need a tire that can handle being driven on dirt roads sometimes, wouldn't need replaced after a low amount of miles yet still able to do autocross and drag racing at the challenge.
I would prefer 255/60 r15 too. So is there anything that would work for me?

Well, anything 'able' to do all 3 will probably not be very good at any one of them. But then again that's probably true of any tire in 255/60/15. That size doesn't really seem optimal for any type of performance event. There may be a pretty good drag radial around that size, but definitely no handling tires.
In reply to Vigo:
Totally agree. The size might be moved around. This is gonna be my free set of tires that doesn't count against the cost. It has 15 inch rims so I'm open to any other size in 15 too that works better
Rally tires + spare wheels + sticky tires of choice and strap them to the back of the car.
Not discounting that option but I'm not sure my budget will handle 2 sets of tires
Um, you do know that only the stuff that is on the car and is used at the event is part of the $2xxx budget, right?
So, use your "free" set for the event and use whatever you like for the off-road/RallyX style stuff.

I rode in a 944 that was wearing Purple Crack tires and it had crazy levels of grip on dirt. I was kinda shocked. In hindsight it makes sense.
Don't worry about the dirt aspect other than wanting to have some sidewall height, which 255/60 will have plenty of.
I have a business fleet and as such, I have these used tires sitting around. You (or anyone else) can have these for free. All the tires have tread and are road ready and road legal. The tread on the snows is low enough that they are no longer good at snow but they should be good enough to drive to FL and and back.
4 Firestone Winterforce

3 Doral (Walmart Brand)
205.65.15
4 General Artic

Also 4 steel rims in 15" from a fwd Buick Lesabre.
Tires located in Sandusky, OH
I am not sure where you are located or what you are trying to fit onto.
Conti DWS would do reasonably well at your 3 goals.
I'm not super worried about performance on the dirt road side, just not destroying a nice sticky tire on a gravel road. I've lived on this gravel road for years but I've driven trucks and suvs the whole time.
I'm in northidaho John but thank you for the offer
Idaho!
Are you really preparing the car for The Challenge? I'll see you there!
Will you be driving the car or trailering it?
I see from your other post that it is a box Impala.
Get yourself some junkyard or CL used tires from any other rwd GM that you can use for transporting.

Yeah I'm really preparing for the challenge. I'll be driving it the whole 2700 miles one way maybe even towing a teardrop trailer too.....I May be insane lol
I commend you. I drove the Q45 the 1,000 miles to last years Challenge.
You can do it. Even better for you, you're bringing a car that I suspect every auto parts store along the way has all you need.
