I Need help (found another car)

I am now convinced it is a sickness or a disease. Seriously!!!. This morning I am walking the dog and decide to go up and around the hill behind my house. I have not been back there for a couple years and I think this is the first time I have been back there with all the leaves off the trees.

So what do I see back in the woods about 100 feet off the trail? The remains of a 1934ish Chev coup. Yes it is basically a frame, drive line and the body only. Yes it has the same finish as Cor-Ten steel.

Just yesterday, after thinking I had found my "dream car" for a cost of around $14K, I started wondering what I could own instead. That is, if I wanted to devote $14K to wheels...what could I buy INSTEAD of this dream car? Maybe...2 almost dream cars, or even 3? Yet, I have to remind myself, I don't have the room at present and that my current car was bought for a fraction of $14K.

To me, cars are like candy and I'm just outside the gates of the Wonka factory.

I love stuff like this! I'm always hiking in the woods and constantly scanning the undergrowth for abandoned cars. Just yesterday, I cut my way through some heavy brush for what turned out to be just a VW Bug door and hood. I've also found a 51 Ford cowl and firewall, and an early Volvo. If I ever find a Model A or Model T, I'm digging it out.

So, is this actually on your own property? How about some photos?

Threads like this reignite my desire to buy a car junkyard, any car junkyard just because...

In high school, a bunch of my friends were sitting around a table making predictions on where we would all be in 20 years. The general consensus was that I would own a junkyard.

I have run of the cars abandoned up back of the inlaw's place. About the only thing salvageable is a 50s/60s country squire wagon. That, and figuring out how to get it down.
