Not sure if that takes in to account for the "s" button and/or the AWD.

I needed this "Aristocrats" class in $2005!! "I* could'a been a contenda!" w/ the Ratty Caddy. (Also picked up the day before the Challenge). I think it came in dead last ahead of the DNFs

Dude!

I have SO wanted some pics of the Ratty Caddy in action!

But, I'm pretty sure you are mistaken- It was a long way from last IIRC.

Got any pics of a gang of bobble-headed helmeted goons on board?

The hail damage looks as if the car may have been used as the rehearsal car for the Whitesnake video and in that rehearsal it was discovered that having Tawny wear stiletto high heels was a bad idea.

I think that my $2010 (?) car might qualify for 'Aristocrat' status:

'95 SAAB 9000cse

I paid $800 for it and remember the window sticker in the car was $38,800; pretty hefty price tag for its day.

Admittedly, I was only a 4 cyl with a 5 speed but it was a surprising excellent platform. I brought it in under $1005 and managed top half in the autocross with low 15 quarters. The FL weather brought boost issues for a New England setup and it ran low 14's in NH.

Very comfy, excellent economy and stupid mid range acceleration; I put about 5k miles on that car before it moved on to the BABE rally and might be in the process of trying to track i down now...

I'll check later for more pix...

TB,
You alone deserve to be part of The Aristocracy but the Saab 9000 seals the deal for sure.
Saab 9-5 would be fitting of an Aristocrat but the more lowly Saab 9-3 driven by common folk leaves questions.

The Chevy Citation on the car hauler really caught my eye. It looked like a possible LeChump car. I had hoped that The Challenge Gods had conspired to deliver me two cars! It has some decals but you could tell that other decals had been removed too. It was fitted with very low profile, full racing slicks all around. The paint was dull and chalky but the who car looked very solid and sorted.

The sunlight kept me from getting a good picture and the traffic kept me from getting more full body pictures from farther away. Add to that the distraction of a new car arrival and I unfortunately never got to really see much of it.

Looks like my current plan is much like last year so I feel free to blow up the current Infiniti in the most spectacular way possible, Q-ballah is always down to make sure the party still happens.

Maybe I should show up in a prius? Kinda like the new version of the uptight shiny happy person car for when your neighbors would talk E36 M3 on another Merc at the club...

For the jag. LSD frount and rear. Center dif/ transfer case is a geared unit no LSD nl viscous. It is direct drive so all four wheels turn together. A real pita when trying to set it up on the alignment machine.

No crap, cool! So center is locked and front and back are lsd? And the front and back are viscous type?

Are you sure, Dean? a fully locked center differential isn't really sustainable on the road, at least tire-wear wise. Did you modify something? Or do you mean that it's an open center differential?

I only have time to work on this in small doses but today I cleaned the engine. Using only a Cleaner/Degreaser know as Awesome (a yellow liquid found at the Dollar Stores), a small brush (only used occasionally) and the hose; I got these results.
