The civic has been doing well for local autocross events since I stopped driving and sold my Miata.
A big rear sway bar and some konis is the limit of suspension mods for street class.
Typical front wheel drive cornering attitude.

However, the sway bar mounts are being asked to do a lot more than intended.

Front ball joints are shot too.

I've been doing really well with the car, beat a good driver in a Fiesta ST and raw timed the winners of 11 other classes at the last event.
Can't wait to see how it turns at the next event.
Our but sounds like the car is in good hands regarding the repair.

I was wondering if someone made reinforcement plates.

The plan is to cut out both sides, weld in backing plates, then weld the top back on.
Lucky for me, I was referred there last year. South Orlando is a good hike for me, but worth it.
They do regular service but also build and support race cars. Shop owner is a national level autocrosser. They know what they're doing.
