I've always had a thing for older 911s and this pops up on Marketplace. Love the colour, love the Fuchs in black......seats can't be the originals. How bad would I regret it?

The seats not matching is unfortunate but you know more than the average bear about seats!
I envision the original seats could have been tan bolsters with green plaid centers.

I have a pair of these in the basement that could be upholstered like that.
If you can afford it, and it's as nice as it looks (check for rust underneath, '75 wasn't fully galvanized yet) I doubt there would be much regret.
It's a gorgeous car but the price feels a bit optimistic for a '75 SC. I know aircooled prices have gone stratospheric, having owned a '69 and '96 myself but, still, it feels strong.
Perhaps not though, if the low mileage is verifiable.

The beauty of being able to afford a good classic car is that you can own, drive and sell it and get all of your money back when you are done.

Finding a set of seats and getting them reupholstered would cost $2-3K, so the $51K needs to come down, and the seller ought to have some wiggle room in his posted price anyway.

I am biased for sure but you should definitely go for it Warren. One life to live and all that.
The only thing I don't care for are the headlights -- I'd have to budget for Euro lenses if I ever ended up with a 911.
