The good news is I've been invited to drive with a Chumpcar team! The bad news is they have a miata. The worse news is that I am over 6 feet tall 260lbs and have size 13 feet. Am I going to be able to drive this thing? I am most concerned about my sasquatch feet and the miata's pedals. I can't sportingly drive my SAAB with regular shoes, and its pedals are decently spaced. How are a miata's pedals?

You won't need a race seat to hold you in there. The drivers and passenger doors are going to be in your arm pits haha.

Bring the shoes that you wear for the SAAB.

Well I've been in a Datsun roadster and a Spitfire, and that's how they felt to me.

I owned a miata at 6'3 250lbs size 14 shoes. It's worth it.

One of my team mates is 6'4" 230-240 and he fits with a utlrashield spec maita seat. We're using the factory slider with the factory front mounts and the rear mounted to the floor(removed mounts). It lowers and leans the seat back a little more. Oh and we built the main hoop about 2" higher than normal.
