I hear ya about the weather. My project Geo Tracker is in the garage, but it's like a sweatbox in there, so I haven't been able to touch it.

Maybe the weather will stay this way long enough for you to change your mind on that paint

Where did you get the paint and how much?

Normal price was $279/Qt. Alsa send me an email offering me a Galon for $199!!! I already had my white, but couldn't pass this up! Its actually 2 full gallon, as they sent reducer to mix 1:1. I'm excited to get it done!

So after you paint it, your MX-3 will look like a 350Z?

Dan do they make red/black or red/white flip paint?

Ben I don't believe so... They do make some pretty crazy coatings like temp changing paint. Check out that link posted above.

I only saw PURPLE/GREEN/BLUE. RED/PURPLE/BLUE. ORANGE/RED/PURPLE in that ad they sent.

We sold the DuPont version of that years ago back at the Paint Shop I worked in. It got a lot of use, for something so expensive. One guy painted his guitar (Fender) in it, and it looked awesome under stage lights. Cars come out fine.

Woah. I just had about a zillion ideas. All tasteless, but very brightly painted.

Considering that MX3 looks like it was with a mop dipped in red poster paint, colour me jealous.

So when they ask you what color the car is at the motor vehicle office, what do you tell them?
