Identify this car

I get to see some pretty strange stuff in my job.  I have no idea what this is, but there are two of them.  Looks like a kit car.     

Actually looks a lot like a 1-off custom built for Bobby Darin that I saw in the National Museum of Transport west of Saint Louie.  But the fact that there are 2 of them kind of goes against that.

looks like a lot of a Volvo 1800

The nose looks a lot like a Devin Panhard

But the rest of it is all wrong.

the interior  and windshield looks a lot like the C1 corvette to me... obviously with the rest being custom on top of that..... no idea what it is..

This article says it has a Chevy Pickup windshield but does not say what year of truck.

I was noticing that the windshield appeared to flipped from the normal orietation (sides rolled back, not down)...

That is a brilliant idea and example of someone who can think around the corner.

Going to be stealing it in case I ever get around to my fantasy of doing a scratch-built car as a project.

flipped windshield was the first thing i recognized, but i was thinking tri-five coupe.

I'd say the windshield is probably from a 1955-1959 Chevy truck, which fits the time period of the car.
