Say you find two or three good windshields or back windows laying around and no idea what they fit. Is there a simple way to identify the year/make/model?

Thanks for any tips!

I'd start by trying to remember what cars you think you would have bought for and/or pulled from a windshield in recent years.

Look for a part number on them.   Or, I'd say they could very well be "Danny Shields'."

I’d bet if you post pics here someone would ID them in no time.

Throw them out one at a time.  Shortly after you discard each one you'll run across a killer deal on a vehicle that it fit that's only lacking that piece of glass.

Bring them to the mall parking lot and walk around with each one until you find something that looks right.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one forgetting why I have pieces of automotive glass in the shop.

You'll need to log in to post.
