That is an unusually cool van. Also, the difference between LS and non-LS is pretty meaningless in this app unless someone is seriously going for big power with it. The stock-to-stock performance difference is way less valuable than the opportunity value of finding ANY van in this body style that is of good trim+condition+price. My .02.

I too am trying to convince wife that we need this van.
Do you think two 12 ft kayaks will fit inside?
It also has auxiliary inputs for audio and video, a brake controller, towing package and plenty of bruises so you are not afraid to use it. And wireless headphones, comes with a cheat sheet and manual for the stereo, apparently you can play two different sources at the same time.
I also have a large stack of records from the first owner and limited scribblings from me.
That 17 highway from the window sticker was from the time of driving 65, it is possible.

Sadly no, 12' lumber has to slide under the back seat and all the way to the front between the front seats, wait it you only used the driver seat and the one behind it they would fit but the front passenger seat would half to go missing.
Trailer hitch on the van? Towing capacity, if known? Is the 4L60E the good transmission, or the same one I had in my 04 Suburban which was fine for me, but a ticking time bomb according to most.
In reply to Mazdax605 :
Yes, hitch and towing package with brake controller. 4L60E, I added a cooler and upgraded 2-4 servo and lift to shift system cuz that’s how you keep from killing them. I don’t know the rating, I towed a 4500 lb travel trailer plus the stuff in it.
Sometimes people with kids borrow it and their kids want to keep it, my kids don’t want me to sell it, weird.
Pictures of the front seating surfaces/controlls? Things Mrs. Deuce will have to touch to ride/drive it?
I really want to get this, put in a rubber floor, and just use it.
Having had two full size conversion vans, that neither were as nice as this one, I am drooling. If I weren't about to close the deal on buying my old turbo Voyager back, I'd be all over this.

It's funny you mention this. When I was growing up, my parents used to rent one of these (or similar) every time we drove from Florida to Massachusetts to visit family. I thought these vehicles were the coolest, but my father always complained "How can GM make something so big with such bad interior layout?!" Can't say I disagree these days. I've always found the layout of GM trucks cramped and uncomfortable. That went off topic. Short answer: cool vehicle, glws, wish I needed something like this
So Bilstein makes shocks for this and Hellwig makes a 1 1/8 inch rear sway bar though I'm not sure what the factory options are. It might be that there are larger factory sway bars from the 3500 versions? Unfortunately I can't find info on 4x4 conversions though it should be pretty easy to source the parts from an AWD version of this van and go from there. Just thinking out loud......
That van is awesome. Someone needs to buy it!
I almost bought this van a year ago and still regret not doing so. That is one big beautiful van! But our wives must have similar (dis)taste in automobiles, so we ended up with a boring normal minivan. 20+ mpg is nice though.
GLWS. That really is a rare, special van. Beautiful color and obviously cared for very well.
I had the Dodge version of this for several years. 2500 series though with the 8 lug wheels, and only a 318, but it was good van. This is probably better as it is a full frame vehicle unlike the unibody Dodge. I love the hand me down 06 Sienna I'm driving now, but I do miss the RWD of my Suburban, and the Clifford the Big Red Dodge. I assume the A/C works? I love my full sized van for towing and sch.

AC is ice cold, a couple years ago the main line from the front to rear was replaced and fully charged with 5.5 lbs of refrigerant

That van would make the perfect tow rig for me...... My girlfriend would absolutely kill me if I brought this home..
Want a Mercedes 300te?
Haha
In reply to Shawnb :
Is it not yellow, or AWD, or manual, can it tow 5000 lbs.
Most importantly I loaded these from my phone!!!!
2nd the drivers seat is bad, but it’s the same as the second row. My plan is to steal a cover from a rear seat for use on the front then cover the rear.
I think I'm out. Not because I don't want it, but because Mrs. Deuce sort of indicated that it would be better to get a new track car than another van and also HEAVILY hinted that both weren't going to happen. Someone needs to buy this.

I’m sorry to hear of your misfortune, but a race car is way more fun. That was close, I almost told my wife what I was up to, I will anyway just to freak her out.
It's good to keep them on their toes.
I am willing to extend the GRM price to friends and family of GRM.
So I've e been driving a 2011 2500 Chevy cargo van since January 2012 (it had 12 miles on it when I got it). It's the smallest V8 (4.8 litre possibly). It has been pretty much as reliable as gravity and I don't feel the company does maintenance as well as I would. It gets oil changes twice a year whether it needs it or not. It has 136k miles on it. Do you guys think it would be similar driving this older van compared to the 11 I drive every day for work. I imagine this one is a lot nicer in a lot of ways with it being an SLT and not the fleet white stripper model.
If we were in the market for upgrading my van now I would probably be throwing money at you already. As it is, still a few years out.
This thing looks real sweet for the price. Glws.
