The way things are going it may still be for sale in a couple of years. It is just way too handy for traveling with kids and hauling to the cabin/pulling trailers.
Look for the reason why I'm selling in the open classifieds soon, travel trailer content.

So I've e been driving a 2011 2500 Chevy cargo van since January 2012 (it had 12 miles on it when I got it). It's the smallest V8 (4.8 litre possibly). It has been pretty much as reliable as gravity and I don't feel the company does maintenance as well as I would. It gets oil changes twice a year whether it needs it or not. It has 136k miles on it. Do you guys think it would be similar driving this older van compared to the 11 I drive every day for work. I imagine this one is a lot nicer in a lot of ways with it being an SLT and not the fleet white stripper model.
The difference that sound deadening and windows makes on the quality of driving can't be overstated. I think the chassis was the same from something like 1997 until the end of production, so you should get that same tall wallowy GM van ride that I know you love, but the difference is that you'll be driving a big tall wallowy car instead of a hollow ringing coffee can with wheels. I like passenger vans.

Waiting on 1099 to see how much/if any toy fund is left while also selling wife on van-life idea. Her current idea of van-life is me, alone, down by the river.
Also thinking of selling the 78 Colony Park as wife seems to think too many cars is a thing.
Yes, I’ll get the trailer info up soon.
Combo deal will likely be $12k 10 for the trailer 2 for the van.

Ohh, must be one nice trailer!! How big a trailer?
If that were an AWD van, I would be currently driving to Michigan.
It was $22,500 new, Retail is 11-13k.

Basically this trailer, plus heated beds, bike racks, hitch, new tires, etc.
Is that upper bunk as claustrophobic as it looks? Did you buy the trailer new? We have 2 boys, aged 15, and 11, could this trailer work with them? Currently we have a large 14' high wall pop up camper, and it works, but my wife is getting tired of the canvas living.

It's funny you mention the sound deadening and windows, as when I had my 01 Dodge 2500 SLT passenger van I also had a 00 I think Dodge 3500 van for work, and the difference was night and day between the two vans. The 360 in the 3500 work van was better than the 318 in my passenger van though. I'd likely still have the Dodge passenger van, but the body started rusting pretty badly, and the A/C was shot, and would have cost me more than the van was worth to repair. I ended up giving it to my father who used it a couple of years for work until the "frame" rotted right at the suspension point on the drivers front. It looked like the craziest stance car you ever saw on that side. Luckily it happened while he was in a parking lot, and not on the highway where he was heading.

The top bunk is short, but I have slept in it as well as some fellow Lemons racers at race weekends. I have a nice brochure for it, e-mail me if you want to see it.
This trailer has a unique layout we got it when my twin boys were in portable cribs, they both fit on the floor with plenty of room to move around, At one cold race weekend we brought some lawn chairs in so we all had room to sit.
I bought it after it was used twice, the PO's wife got into a car accident and received a large settlement so they got a Class A.
This was from a large trailer show so it is fully decked out, XM radio, doo dads and what nots, real wood trim.
Maybe not apparent in the pics, the front couch folds into a bed and it's heated too.
Someone asked about rust, this is the wimpiest piece of steel on it. Of course the frame is orange but it was never protected.
Body seams....seems fine to me. It is due for a was right now so there is some crusty dirt on it from all the slop this week. It would go on the lift for pics but there is a dead jeep on it.

I don't know how relevant it is, but how many miles are on this baby?
My wife probably won't be as enthusiastic as I am, but this would be a great replacement for my Volvo 740 for a vacation-mobile
edit: I see, about 200k. My wife says we are not getting a murder-van. I said murder-vans don't have carpet. She still isn't biting.
Darn, this looks like a better family truckster than my Suburban. Anyone out there have interest in a 2004 Quadrasteer 'burb?
After carrying twins my wife had a bit of a back issue, with the van you just walk in, close the door then buckle car seats in the while sitting in front of them rather than contorting yourself.
We got the van to pull the trailer, now we are done with both. If it goes to a new home I’m sure it won’t be long before it is missed.

What year is the trailer?
In reply to spitfirebill :
2007, e-mail for the full info folder.
The underside of that is absurdly clean.
It’s called a 25’, not sure of the height, #4500 empty. It’s like a race car, aluminum chassis with a fiberglass body.
e-mail for the detail folder.
My screen name @gmail.com or use the forum massage thingy it works.
Thanks for the email Tony. I can't open the images for some reason though. Most likely because I'm a luddite and don't computer very well.

Funny, thought those or the "candy" vans usually didn't have any windows on the sides? Like contractor vans.
In reply to Mazdax605 :
Guess I’ll have to post the trailer tomorrow, look for it in the classifieds.

Ok, then images didn't open for me either.
Try the download arrow, that should give you a file that you can open.
