You'd form the remaining steel from the Ghia into wheel chocks to keep the Miata from rolling down a hill?
The KG has a 94.5" wheelbase and the Miata has an 89.2 wheelbase. So, you got to stretch the Miata.
This works better if you can find a cheap boxter, even if you have to buy boxter with dead engine, sell off all the spare panels, and convert to subaru engine. Note you would have to shorten the boxter by 3". Easier to shorten than lengthen.
And by the way, none of this requires talent, only a total disregard for being in over your head for the next five years
