I will be definitely interested in more than one car in their current lineup.
Mazda Takeri Concept - aka the next Mazda 6.
Looks awesome IMO. The only thing I ask is that this is available with a manual in all trim levels/engines. That was the mistake they made with the current Mazda 6. This concept has the SkyActiv-D twin turbo diesel which is pretty cool too. But lets see if the US gets it.

Really? I hope it's just crappy perspective, but the nose of that thing looks comically big, like it's wearing a clown nose all the time. Hopefully it is a joke!
We're going to see a lot of big noses as cars evolve to deal with the European pedestrian safety regs. Pretty cool looking car.
yes the pedestrian safety laws are going to give most fars a pretty big probiscus.. until they figure out a way to cushion the blow without resulting to large void spaces between the hood and the engine.
I like it, Mazda is on a real design tear.. they need to make a big 2 door coupe out of it too, like Audi and BMW do

How many ways can I express my contempt for the "brows" over the front wheels that have been deemed a Mazda standard? They are the reason I don't own a new Miata, they are the reason the wife unit just purchased a Nissan Versa instead of a Mazda 3.
I have held on to the Protege for almost 10 years hopping this person at Mazda styling would get off the ugly button, but neither me or the Protege are going to be able to wait much longer!

So you're saying you like Audis?
That car is gorgeous.
Hmmm, the wife's Grand Prix is getting close to a 150K so it will be time to upgrade for her soon...

I call it a nice antidote to blandness. Mazda's willing to take a styling chance, which is more than 95 percent of auto designs out there can say. I'll take a Bangle over a breadbox any day. (I know that Bangle has nothing to do with Mazda designs, but he is synonomous with adventurous styling.)

I actually dont mind the brows but the big silly grin on everything is starting to wear on me.
That diesel is another engine we won't get here.
I'd roll it if they made a MazdaSpeed version with AWD and a stickshift. The word "Turbocharged" needs to work it's way in there too...

You'll notice that it's going away This car definitely does not have the big silly grin.
Really nice looking car.
I just can't get past a few things: 1) I have no need whatsoever for a sedan. 2) I like my rear wheels to be powered.
My new car fantasy dollars are already tied up in either the 2014.5 all-new Mustang or the FR-S (assuming it can live up to the hype).
That back end is way too BMW X6 for my liking.
And anything will be better than the current MS3, as far as looks go. Yuck.
I think it looks nice, no more grin is a good thing. The Euro peds standard is completely stupid if you ask me. We need aerodynamics to meet fuel economy standards, but must have big front ends for safety? Pick one dammit!

It's less about how you enter the air, than how you leave it.
Oh great, another 4 door sedan
Nice looks classy. Not chintzy like a lot of japanese cars

If they make it or something similar w/ RWD with a manual trans, I might be interested.
Nice looking car.
Why would it be RWD? The 626/Mazda6 has been FWD for 30 years. It would be like a RWD Accord.
You know, you could almost stick a Jaguar badge on that thing legitimately.
