I think the clk is a much better looking car
CL500 all the way.
Basically a coupe version of the S-class W140's, but if you are close to buying you probably already know that. A 99 would get you the nice square headlights and not the silly Lexus GS style headlights that came in 2001.
I'm thinkin a clk55 would be a pretty fun dd. A new radiator would prolly be prudent though.

It is all just a thought exorcise any way. I'm still banned from buying any form of transportation. Just found the two on Craigslist in comparable condition and price and that peeked my interest. I prefer the styling of the CLK but would likely choose the 500.
