Yes sir. There should be several screws when you lift the lid. Be careful with the lid because he hinge is plastic and brakes easily. You pull up and disconnect the light and remove the cubby. From there can see the inner wheel well.
They usually start rusting on the inside before it shows on the exterior.
That thing is going to do just fine at BaT auction. 
Thanks Greg. The lids have already broken their hinges, but I'll pull the cubbies and get some pics. The biggest flaw this car has is some cooked interior plastic from sun exposure. The paint is a fairly recent repaint in the original color due to rock chips. She's a pretty good example of the breed for sure.
That... looks like the car a friend in Indiana was putting up for sale.
Keith, the first time I drove a 1.6 NA, it was a punch in the gut because it was almost exactly the same ergonomics and driving dynamics as the '80 RX-7 I had. The RX-7 shifter was a little better but that's about it.
The steering is usually fine unless someone monkeys with it. Then it goes all to hell since the obvious adjustment is the last thing to touch, and the box quickly gets ruined from improper gear mesh.
I'm starting to like this car because it's just so good. I didn't video the cold start (not enough hands) but it popped right into life for a short photo session this morning. And here's what's hiding behind those bins. There's some carpet fuzz stuck to the seam sealer, that's it. Thanks for the tip on that one.
