Not really, I have had the car since 1985 and it's tough to remember all the stuff  I have done to it.

I made some hub adapters to go from the hub OD of her Fusion (67.1 mm) to the ID of the hub bore on a set of SN95 wheels I have laying around (70.5 mm) and did a test fit on her car. They looked great and the slightly more outboard offset really made the car look more "racer-ish".  

The SN95 "Wafflestars" were also significantly lighter than her OE wheels. 

Her Fusion has the optional 18" wheels, not the standard 17's. I assume that since the 17's were standard equipment that running a set of 16's will not bump her out of H-Street, so long as they are the same width and the offset is within +/- .275". 

We're already planning a few H-Street legal mods to throw at the car after the end of this Autocross season. :)

After further research it looks like the Mustang wheels might have slightly too low of an offset, they are 32 mm and the Fusion wheels have 44 mm. The S197 wheels will work though since they have a 38 mm offset, if I can find some that are 7.5" wide.

I really think I want to do this for the rest of my life. I know I'm only 16, and I have only autocrossed once, but I can't stop thinking of it. My dad warned me that this is an addiction, and he was very right! 

I have been dreaming of racing every night since the autocross, and it's something I can constantly get better at. Today, I started working on left foot braking. I love that I have a consistent challenge. I want to surround myself with the sport, as well as the community, for the rest of my life.

I can't wait for more events like this one, I can't wait to race my Vengie again! (For those who don't know, my car's name is Vengie)

Awesome!  You can always improve which is one of the great things about Motorsport.  Enjoy the experience because life is ultimately about relationships and experiences.  The failure comes from not doing.

I think that autocross will help me in real life situations. Not just avoiding wrecks, but in grit and pushing through anything. And, of course, learning to make new friends. Lol.

I have been looking at different tire options for the inevitable upgrades. I'm intrigued by the Riken Raptors. On paper, they seem to be a decent performance tire at a very reasonable price. Her current tires are quite new-ish and have a LOT of life left in them. They will definitely stay on for at least one season.

The number one way autocross helped me as a driver is in conditioning me not to panic.  The first several times I messed up badly on course, my gut would clench along with my brain to some extent.  Eventually, spins became a slow motion event where I was more aware of what was going down instead of blind reaction.

Nevertheless, "in a spin, both feet in" remains good advice.  Unless, of course, you are driving an automatic.

My wife has autocrossed several times but it's not really her thing.

One thing she does credit it for is making here comfortable with car control; no one ever taught her that (her family isn't into cars).  

Even if you only do a single season you will be a much better driver.
