i'll just leave this here... an engine that GM almost put into production about a decade ago:
it's an LS2 derived 13.6 liter V16 that was rated at 1000 horsepowers and 1000 torques... it was going to be put in a new Cadillac flagship car, but it got killed after the show car but before they started production engineering...

Threads like that really make me wish there was a forum post filter that would cut out the nut swinging and strange OT stuff and just give me the tech.

I agree! I haven't read much of the thread because I don't have the time right now to sift through this stuff. I'm hoping there's a youtube video out there to let us hear what an LS12 sounds like.
There is a great filter on advrider.com that allows you to install a firefox plugin to only show the posts from the OP. I suppose someone more computer literate than me could modify it to work on other forums.

Could this filter also automatically replace "torques" with "ft-lbs of torque" in every instance?
I remember seeing that thing several months ago on various forums and Jalopnik.
Is it running yet? Or should I put it in the "vaporware" category?
