Is the cj6 up on the block as well? What is the status of it now?

That's a tough one, as the guy who I got back from wanted me to have it because he knew it was my favorite of the three CJ6s I'v owned.  If I had to sell it to get the Dreamer, though, I would.  Not interested in selling it just to sell, though.

It is still the same as when I picked it up. (I have faaaar too many projects)

If I was a Ford Guy, I would be all over that.  The Fords are much easier to find, and I can easily fit a 7.3 Powerstroke in one.   (Probably my second or third favorite Diesel)

But I am a Dodge Guy, and a Cummins 12 Valve won't fit fit in the Dreamer.  But a 5.8 Magnum will...

Do you still have my old diesel Suburban?

Sold that (here, in fact) a couple years ago when the trans finally said it was tired of my shennaigans.

I did some work for a guy with a ford version, he loved it and drove it everywhere. Said he didnt care about the mpg because he could sleep in it and save hotel cost. Regularly took it on 1000 mile trips getting about 12mpg with a 460

A 12 valve can probably be made to fit in a dreamer. You'd just have to share cab with it. Heater wouldn't be a problem but you'd probably go deaf after about 4 miles.

Cummins is owned by Ford, so it’s all good.

I'm more intrigued by the 7.3 Turbo in that van.  My '92 has a non-turbo and I have concerns about power when I eventually get to the mountains.

Good luck to Cooter - unfortunately, I am already swimming in more projects and vehicles than I can handle.  That Dodge does look really cool.

I have owned 5 different Dodge vans over the years.

Never an issue with any of them.

Let me be clear, I am not knocking Dodge vans, who knows, maybe Dad didn't put oil in it.  But my dad is the "piss me off once and I am done with you forever" kind of guy. Who is at fault is unimportant.  Made growing up kinda...interesting.

Are you my ex's brother? That pretty much describes her to a T.

If life were just a smidge different I'd already be headed to Arizona for this. Showed it to my wife. She was not impressed. I explained that it's a van and a truck all in one. She says "vuuuuuuuck"

I think what you didn't hear is her mumbling about Ferdinand and how when you finish that you could have essentially the same thing.  Only weirder.

 Back to be Alto,

It appears that I may have a buyer for my CT70.  Has anyone spoke up for the Alto yet?

I’m starting to get serious about this.

First Gen manual SW2? (1995 with updated interior)

Shifty still needs a new engine; after driving it 105 miles home, and another 15 miles to my storage lot, my buddy I share the lot with managed to lock it up moving it 10'.  I have another twin cam engine for it, but need to swap it in.

If you are still interested, we might be able to work something out, but I really wanted this flor my next Daily.

Oddly enough, there's one of those van/truck things about 10 mins from me sitting in a driveway.  Looks exactly like the one in the very first post in this thread...same color and everything.   Hasn't moved in a while.   I could possibly swing by and check on it.

Edit... actually it looks like the second one in the thread.

That is false. Ford hasn’t owned any shares of Cummins since the late 90’s.

But it’s sure fun to think about, isn’t it?  wink

And Mexican built F650/F750’s were available with Cummins engines (and Allison transmissions) from 2011-2015.  wink

That Suzuki is tempting, but TBH i'll need a location and some kind of list of what you're selling.

The overall height of the engine puts it into the dash.  And quite possibly the wndsheild.   I've looked into it.

I would swap the 2.7 from my Sprinter into it, but the electronics are a huge hassle.

Trying my best to reply to everyone here, but honestly expected 'most everyone (apostrophe added for Prodarwin) to be disinterested.

If I missed you, let me know.  Lots of response both here and on FB.  As said before, I'm not looking to sell just to sell, but these don't come up very often, and three have already slipped through my fingers, mostly due to logistics.

Sorry.  Missed you on the first go 'round.  Hard to keep up.

Not my first choice to sell, but I could do a package of either or both of my SR500 projects, steet titled TT500, and/or XT500.   All need something.   Some need more than others.

Just what you see here, and one of my friends on FB.

My friend is the guy who buys storage auctions and said he would buy it, but it is just for him to flip.   I don't think he even knew what these were before I found this one.

You wanted this from the moment I bought it, and I think it would likely be a better fit for you.  I also think I know you from MiJeepers and GL4x4.

Aside from normal weekend stuff I have only been dealing with texts and FB mostly today, and haven't gone near Gmail yet ...
