Actually I have seen one of those before. Not sure if it was the same one, the paint was different. I remember it was on Craigslist, this might be the same one with a repaint.
So all that beautiful body work and he couldn't bother to clean and paint the stupid frame?
Someone should buy it and save it.

That's what I was thinking. At least in pictures, that body appears to be a clean resto-mod.
I love it when the owner says something isn't street legal. Almost everything is legal until you get told by the State Trooper that it's not, and then you get Hobbyist Plates.
"not street legal" might refer to "there's no berkeleying way i'd operate this piece of E36 M3 at road speeds near innocent passers-by..."
just sayin...

Ugh. The beauty of the Hudson was the step-down frame. The floor pan was dropped down and they had a lower center of gravity than their contemporaries. That's why they were among the best handing cars of their time.
As far as the Hudson goes - I've seen dumber/worse/uglier. I'd buy it for $4000, work on it a little, then go have some stupid fun.
I agree.. I generally always love 4x4 cars...
I ain't a purist..
But for Gods sake... a Hudson Hornet... Come on! you hold him.. I'll do the kicking..
