You obviously missed the ones with Black guys laughing it up with those "homogeneous" people. I guess bringing race and politics into this was inevitable. Someone just couldn't resist.
Im sure their numbers are few but hey, there's always the NBA. I happen to love that people are different and enjoy different cultures.
And by the way, as off-topic as this may be, I'd suggest wearing a Trump shirt to a Bernie rally and keep to yourself, be kind etc. and if you don't get pepper sprayed or spit on or otherwise get beaten up you can then wear a Bernie shirt to a Trump rally and keep to yourself and you'll be perfectly safe.
Also, if you think buying race tires is painfully expensive, this is not your Motorsport.

flounder bro..
also that last bit is laughable. thanks for the comedy.
My only complaints about rallyx are the lack of hood exit exhausts and the unwillingness of the organizers to let me drink during the event. I feel like this group would encourage both and therefore are my people #mudsentra

Vigo's post was downright restrained compared to yours. He didn't even really bring politics into it, just said his better half would be uncomfortable. You then drug it into the flounder mud.
Why do I have a sudden urge to build a lifted lawn tractor?

Wait? You mean to tell me that thinking about building a lifted lawn tractor all the time isn't normal?

Richmond, VA was the capital of the Confederacy. So while I would agree with you, plenty of your neighbors think differently.
And America was originally a colony of England, but Amercans don't generally consider ourselves beholden to the Queen these days ;)
Sure there's a part of the populace here in Virginia that loves their confederate flags and such (though you see just as many Confederate flags in rural Maine, based on our last trip there) - but Northern Va., Richmond, and Hampton Roads are as many transplants as locals these days, and very suburban. Most of the love for "the south" in this state is to the south and west of Richmond. Most people I know consider themselves neither "southerners" nor "northerners" really. Doesn't really matter to me - consider yourself whatever you want. I'm a mutt who has lived in Europe, the Far East, the west coast, the east coast, the Northeast....
I say "Soda" and but I also say "y'all" sometimes ;)
Off-topic though. I wasn't trying to get into a race or politics thing. It was more of a "us suburban people live pretty boring lives compared to the rural sect" type of thing lol.

Skinny ass tractor tires are the E36 M3 in deep soupy mud. They dig to the bottom and bite into the semi solid ground as opposed to just floating and flinging the mud around. My buddy has a set on his mud quad and they flat out rock in the bogs. It's a strange feeling when you dig down to something solid and pull the front tires as it just digs it's its way out.
I always thought the best way through the sippy hole was over it.

Only if you are going to go everywhere at 100mph.
This link is NSFW. It's on YouTube but questionable at best for work. You've been warned.

But joe goes to mudfest and it's hilarious. I'd be remiss to say if I haven't been to mud bogs and sand drags and all other kinds of fun in my old toyota hilux.
If GRM were to hold an event it would probably be more akin. To the old tough truck races. Those were low dollar beaters getting beaten.
^ NSFW? That sounds like 2003. Does HR still have a zero tolerance, walking around looking over your shoulder approach to that type thing? I wouldn’t watch porn on the clock but this seems innocuous enough. I don’t know. Maybe I’m removed too much from reality. I’m in Virginia and my boss is in Texas. I don’t she gives two rips about what I watch as long as I’m getting my work done and not making anybody else uncomfortable. Besides, all the hall monitor types who used to police this stuff (heck, YT was blocked back in the oughties) have been RIF’d.

I work for a pretty conservative company.. What flies in government contracting is different than other industries...

I haven't lived long enough in places where you have enough lawn to need a lawn tractor.

I watch those videos every so often. It looks like a ton of fun, but it also looks a little... homogenous and with the inevitable confederate flags and trump paraphernalia that follows, it's not the kind of place I could take my better half and expect her to be comfortable.
I do like the idea of it, but.. oh well. I guess i yee yee from afar.
Friend of mine in Indiana has gone to a lot of the redneck rave events up there and it looks like hillarious fun until I remember I can't stand the majority of the people I expect to be at such an event. Drunken Kyles everywhere and such.

I spent a fair amount of time running sideways between the pine trees down here. I'm not that brave anymore.

I have never met an old kyle. Like, never one over 40
And we have lawnmower racing down the road from us. I love the rural south!
