IMRC Controller for a '98 Cobra

Hey guys,

Anyone got a line on either an IMRC Controller for a '98 Cobra, or a Cali-smog legal way to delete the IMRCs?

Mine's shot, Ford doesn't make 'em anymore, and with a bad one I can't pass smog.

Quick check on Rock Auto and they don't even list it (though they do list an auto tranny :rolleyes: ).

I'm not sure what, if any, controllers will interchange. I know the Lincoln one has a different plug, though I'm not sure if the plug could be swapped over or not.

I don't know what the one in your cobra looks like but I do know that the focus svt has one, later 3.8L cars, and so does the contour. One of those might match up.

Those are some mustang specialty salvage places, one of them should have one, the price might stink a bit, but they should have it.
