You're using the camcorder style model? How and where are you mounting it? Any video online?
I don't know about the H3's but I haad hell of a hard time getting my H2 to work right. It would only turn on after removing the flash and reinstalling the battery. Even then it would only turn on if the planets were aligned correctly. I ended up doing about 5 hours of research on the net and finally got new firmware installed just before I ran out of patience. I was this close to throwing it against the wall. What a piece of crap.
It works great now
