Since it's a sports car, it's less of an inconvenience with power locks. I would imagine that local autocross regions won't mind people running with an aluminum radiator in street or street touring classes, especially if that car has cooling problems (BMW). Hopefully, the seller has the document that says the engine was new.

I have an answer for this, at least. I googled the phone number listed with the ad and it came back to a consignment store. My guess is that it's still a 1-owner car, but the owner didn't write the ad, so it comes off sounding strange.
I'm going to call them when they open and see if my friend can drive out and look at it today.
