So anyone try this? I'm curious for $10 and only 2hrs away, plus activities all day. But a friend of mine last night said he thought they were so crowded that they fill the whole track with cars and you end up puttering around at 10mph in a train of cars. If that's true I'm out.
I don't expect much, but if I can go 30-40-50mph with or without other cars/pace car, I'd do it.

I assume its probably at around 45-50mph. I won't make it to this event as I'll be at work being crushed by the backlog from working the Mecum Auction the week prior.
Also, did you get the stickers I mailed you?

YES! Thank you, thought I emailed you that already...
It's always on a work day. I've never been able to go because I've been a productive member of society. I need to quit that and go do more fun stuff.

I'd either go to Time Trials or a day of the road race next weekend instead for slightly more money, IMHO.

Not interested in the race at all. Just the chance to drive on the track for $10. If it's more than a 10mph crawl.

You probably did, I check that email addy like once a week(if that) lol
I did the one at the Kentucky speedway. There they had state troopers take and hold your drivers license so you wouldn't be tempted into doing something stupid. They had two pace trucks with a group of five cars following. Most of the time we ran around 50-55 mph. Except when the other group peeled off our pace truck upped the pace quite a bit. Of course he was in an SRT10 and I saw 95mph coming off of turn two. He let us run two laps at those speeds. He was tipped well.
I'm in Cincinnati and I'm looking for an excuse to take out my new KLR650, maybe I overlooked it but do they mind motorcycles coming by??? By the way, years ago a college buddy drove by the track one night and found an open gate. He saw the need to explore and he ended up on the track with his dodge omni in the middle of the night.
