Chapter 27 in the neon's car search...
Friend of a friend has an '02 Infinity G20, 5spd, 190k, asking $1750. Other known equipment includes sunroof and heated seats, no idea if normal or sport model.
I'm slightly concerned about the mileage, but more so about aging luxury items failing, such as auto climate control and more.
SR20, timing chain engine, will last forever if it hasn't been run low on oil or too long between changes. Transmissions that are beat on will typically exhibit 5th gear pop-out. It's a Nissan, not an Audi with climatronic. You aren't looking at a whole lot to fail.
Basically, it's a deal if it isn't a clapped out, rusty hulk.
I was looking at Maximas and was directed toward these. I'd buy it at that price.

Nissan Primera everywhere else. Something like 140hp in their day IIRC. Biggest issue I've seen on them is rust. Be sure to look underneath at the suspension mounts.
Isn't that a Sentra SE-R in fancy pants?
Not that that's a bad thing.

Like the others have said, if it's rust free, buy it. 2002 they dropped the touring package and had a sport package instead, which includes a limited slip diff. They also went up 5 hp to 145 with the 2000 model year. New they weren't much of a bargain at all, but at $1700 I think it's a steal.
If the car is in decent shape, that sounds like a great deal. I'm a big fan of the SE-R, and a G20 is the grown-up version.

Get it. The p11's had a much stronger transmissions with the factory LSD. I still crave a p10 t car. They're stupid fun to drive. Get good mpg too.
Agreed, get it for $1700 or tell us where it's at

Yeah, that sounds like a really good car at a good price.
