"This unit is blown with an HELICOPTER TURBINE, which is mounted in the car and uses it’s own fuel system to produce boost which remains at a constant pressure at all times, is then fed into the BDT, permanent boost! NO LAG. "
Here it is being started

Sounds ordinary and then about 3/4 the way thru the helicopter engine kicks in. Now that's a treat
In car video from '09, unfortunately you can't really hear the turbine

For a long time i've wanted to build a standalone turbocharger based turbine with an extra compressor stage for feeding boost to a car's engine...
Where does one find a tiny ,little turbine like that? You could mimic the concept with a snowmobile engine running a small supercharger at constant speed.Somebody needs to get creative before the Challenge!
that dude is a legend in the UK. That car is not new he's just been "perfecting" it for a few years. All my old coworkers at holset know him by name.
The web page I sent talks about 2005 but the video was 2009. I'm told there's a 2010 video that's awesome but I haven't found it yet.
I like his body additions to what is basically a locost frame.

yeah he started building the car in 1990.
The redneck portion of my brain has been urging me to do that with a leaf blower for over a decade...and this guy did it with a turbine driven huffer.
Well done, sir. That car is incredible.
