Hey all. I'm going to install the blue sea panel in the photo into the bed of my truck. The panel comes these little self tapping screws (also shown in photo) to install it. Should I use them or install some riv nuts in the bedside and use machine screws?

don't look like self tapping screws.   more like the kind you hae to drill a small hole

Just my guess.

Oh yeah, you're right. Not self-tappers. I guess just sheet metal screws then.

I'd go with rivnuts.  I've never liked sheet metal screws in thin metal like a body panel.

You don't appear to be in salt country but I'd drill, paint and rivnut anyway.

Ok cool, thanks y'all. I was leaning towards riv-nuts, but wanted to double check that I wasn't making extra work for myself.
