Thank you so much for notification of this. The race was great. Glad everyone is ok from the last accident.
I must say I would agree with Mark Weber that the race had a few too many safety car periods. Some of the drivers just needed to chill a bit more in the middle hours.
The cars were very fun to watch.
I have read that one driver was hurt in that last crash. He has some broken bones.
Sigh. Reminded me of Alonso's bonehead crash in Brazil. I mean yellow flags are waving!!!!!! And you still come charging through the blind corners? The on board sound didn't seem to indicate he slowed. He was on it up the hill straight into a damaged Audi. Audi driver now has broken bones.

Yeah, that was not a good situation. Despite the ending I thoroughly enjoyed that race. The B12hr has become one of my favorite races. Lots of safety cars but it's a very narrow track with a whole bunch of cars.

If you watch, the yellow flags don’t start waving until he’s already around the corner. The marshalls were just a touch slow.

I will defer to you. I haven't found a good in car replay. Watching live I was looking for them and thought there was a left and right station waving yellows.
I seemed to remember seeing plenty of waving yellows, but I also understand how hard it is for a driver to see then sometimes.
