Is there even an FF here in the Colonies?

There are a few. First Interceptor I ever saw was an FF... I thought they were all like that!

Very nice looking Interceptor III at Fall Carlisle for a soft $6k... really undervalued cars but I wouldn't give a nickle for one with mush rust.

Volvo 242GT... best Volvo I ever owned. Not quick by any means, but an awesome driver. I thought a turbo 242 would drive as well and have more power, but it didn't come close...

FF's were not supposed to be sold here because the transfer case prevented putting the steering on the left, so they were all produced RHD and without US emissions stuff. I always wondered if a couple snuck over here.

Every car has a story and an owner who was going to fix it given the time/space/money LOL.

I'm the only one who'd take that old Monte Carlo? At least I'm not in the bidding war that'd escalate over the Jensen I suppose.

Yes. There are very few cars that I actually hate. That is one of them.

I thought I was the only one! My cousin had a 71 when we were teenagers and I've wanted one ever since.

Meh, give me a 70 with a 402 and a 4 speed with some 4.10's, I won't complain!

That Buick Skylark was actually considered to be a COMPACT car when it was new, 35 years ago.

There's a storage yard here in Memphis with a small collection of GM mid-sized coupes and a couple of Firebirds....they all look like these cars, even tho rust is not a problem here. Without a bit of wax/polish, a car rusts away fast.

Unfortunately, the chances of finding a "stash" like this are disappearing, at least here, as our "friends from South of the border" are opening more auto recycling yards.

My dad had a 1979 Buick exactly like that one, except brown and with the original steel wheels. It had a SBC in it. Valve guides/seals went out, of course, but he would just swap the plugs and kept driving it. Eventually, he sold it for about a grand in the mid 80's.
