I've been passively shopping for a new car forever, and have after many seemingly unrelated candidates narrowed down my search to the Kia Soul.
Putting that aside, it seems like they are everywhere these days. Not just the Soul, though, but the following vehicles arguably fitting into the above segment.

There is no point to this thread, just an observation.
For some reason the Countryman, the Soul, and Cube appeal to me too.
You forgot the orlando.

The States doesn't get the Orlando, AFAIK. Just us.

Its a VW Tiguan with cosmetic mods, at least thats what the Google said.
I suppose the BMW X3 fits in this category somewhat, too.

I thought you meant a real mini-ute.
Chevrolet, please sell this in the USA!

This was more a Touareg, newer model with the squarish headlights
I'm one of the few that has quite a lust for a 6 speed Cooper S Countryman All4, but the price when optioned is nuts, even the rare few used 6 speeds for sale are up there.
I'm around Cubes & Jukes everyday, I'd drive one, if you gave it to me, and paid for all the maintenance, and fuel, otherwise I want nothing to do with either. I loathe the CVT, no AWD on the 6 speed Juke. I'll admit the Cube is surprisingly roomy, seating is nice, ergonomics are dang near perfect, but good lord is it ever ugly.
The Kia Soul has all but killed the Cube, the '12 & '13 model cubes are getting scarce, not a lot of production, at least the trucks sure aren't bringing us any.
