...to think, "maybe I should look at buying a newer car - let's see what's on craigslist in the 8-12.5K range." and then realize that everything you really want to drive was built before 1975?

Mustangs, Elco's, Falcon's, Camaro's, Torino's,TR6s, Z-car (it was really nice - he'll get $$ on that one), Lincoln Town Car (he might be asking a bit much, but a nice genie original, LOW miles - who doesn't like a land yacht with seating for eight and a 460 cube motivator?), 50's Chevy's, and so on.

The Toyo's, Acura's Honda's and so on just arent't doing much for me.

Looks like I'll hang on to my e30 and my e21 for a while....

Nope I was on Craigslist and everything that caught my eye was old and either American or British.

My wife is having a fit because EVERY car in my price range on Craigslist has Camaro or Mustang on the title. It helps that I use Camaro |Mustang |Awesome mullet as my search parameters.

If I want new, I go to a dealer. I only have gotten a new car once. A 2008 Focus. Great car, but its Wifey's. I have three other cars, 1989, 1995, and 1998. One was $100.00, one was $1000.00, and one was $2,500. I'm very happy with my old cars. As I look at new cars, I remember how happy I am with my old Escort. It works for me. I enjoy driving it.
