I need to make a reasonably tight (1" radius or so) 90 degree connection between my master and remote reservoir. I can't use ordinary rubber line since it's stiff and it torques the fittings in the master grommets - could lead to leaks and premature failure. In my other hobby, RC airplanes, we use silicone hoses for fuel lines, which would fit the bill nicely. And if they can take methanol I figure they can probably take anything but I don't want to find out the hard way...

Can't you use a hardline?

Nylon can be used, but it is not super flexible. We also used it on a race car once and felt that the feel of the pedal was compromised. The Nylon is not supposed to swell under brake pressure, as most other soft hoses can do under braking. You are using it on a non pressure line, so the nylon may work for you.

I do not believe the Nylon is DOT approved.

I think it would depend on the composition of the line. I spilled brake fluid on some silicone vac lines I had and they disintegrated.

Alright, thanks guys. Guess I'll try to rig up some kind of elbow. I have one now but it's not very nice.
