Sorry if this has already been asked, I haven't seen it yet this year, and search didn't turn up anything either.
So here I am 2nd day back at work and I am still looking at a Blue & White DP from December 2011. Will there be a GRM calendar this year or should I go try and find something else for the office wall art?
Got mine with the issue featuring the Mustangs on the cover. If you want mine I'll send it to you, we have too many of the things already.
Yes we have GRM and CMS calendars again this year!
All of our subscribers will be receiving them with the Feb issue of GRM and the January issue of CMS. You too can be one of the cool kids by subscribing!
If you would like a copy, feel free to contact us to subscribe. You can also buy the calendars on our online store:

Hopefully, I'll get the issue, as I just got the calendar by itself today.
It's not very grassroots but it does have a nice selection of racecars.
Shoot, I finally subscribe and I got a t-shirt, a great deal AND a calendar. Must be my birthday!
... where's my t-shirt , just re-upped for 2 yrs
but I did get the calender w/ the Mustang Madness edition

The calendar was bagged with the issue and mailed, but the post office's fancy new automated equipment (bought to make them more efficient and thus allow the closing of many processing centers) hasn't worked as planned. Instead of smoothing operations, the machines are mangling Periodicals mail so badly that on time delivery has dropped to 40%, and a lot of the mail never makes it at all. Looks like one of the hungry beasties ripped your calendar loose and lost the mag.
Give us a call or drop an email and we'll shoot you another copy.

I gots mines yestaday!
And both the mag and the calendar were in good shape!
Ahh, life is good!

40%?!?!?!
Who picks up the cost for that? Seems like most periodicals (hopefully, yours being an exception-at least the page count is bigger than a lot of others I see) are on a pretty slim profit margin these days..
I'll remember this next time I'm thinking you all have dream jobs.
Yeah, there a couple of boogeyman in my dreams, for sure, and the USPS is one of the worst. We pay for the remailing, of course. With no reimbursement for the stuff we paid to mail that they lost. (Hell, there's not even an attempt to tell us that they didn't deliver it... No accountability whatsoever.) And since there's a prohibitive amount of paperwork involved in mailing Periodicals class, it's not practical to remail missed single issues at anything other than 1st class, which costs about 3x the cost of the orig. mailing. Plus the cost of another magazine. Yes, the post office is a lousy partner.

I was about to ask this yesterday when I got back to work. When I get home last night it was in the mail along with the February edition of GRM. So I am all set for 2012 now

You'd have a helluva patio if you got your way with the post office, I suspect.

There is a retirement community in Polk County named NALCREST that is for postal workers and their families. (The name is an acronym...something about the National Association Of Letter Carriers, Retired....) As you would expect for a commmunity of postal workers, they don't allow residents to own dogs.
I hope it cheers Margie up to know that I drive through there every so often with the windows down so Gertrude can bark at the mailmen.
got my magazine and calendar....it is already hanging up at work
Still waiting on the GRM calendar but fortunately the CM calendar arrived weeks ago. Lots of great cars in the CM calendar.

Yes, that makes me smile big. Though TBH, it's not the individual mailmen I'd like to sic somethin' on... it's the geniuses running the operation. For sooooo many reasons.

incorrect
The calendar is totally Grassroots, it just doesn't feature cheap cars. The Continental Cup is full of "Grassroots" racers trying to step up to the next level. They represent what a lot of us strive for, and many of these racers / teams do it on a shoestring budget.
Grassroots does not necessarily = cheap.
I got mine yesterday. So, I compared the various calendars available to me and made a decision:
CM wins the coveted personal calendar in the office spot, again! Just something about that January Jaguar ...
The GRM calendar goes to the garage - still, a place of honor.
I'll hang my calendar on the fridge....when I get it.
I got my GRM calendar warmed up for all the important nursing school dates when they become available.... Why just have boring white paper dated calenders to look at....
oh my. I may have to get my subscription order in for CMS to get the calendar.
speaking of which. I just got my GRM yesterday, with calendar. In the mag there was a special offer for 2 free CMS issues when you subscribe. Theres a web address inside to subscribe online and recieve the deal, that appears to be broken. Am I doing this wrong? Or can I do the same deal with a 2 year subscription?

edit: i found some fine print on the subscription offer card "CMDP2Y11" if I punch that into the subscription page it gives you the 6 issues (+2) offer
Note to self: fix mailbox!
Mine showed up today, which is par for the course. After all, it seems to get strapped to a snail that is sent off from Ohio .
