Like the title states.
I'm going to build the exhaust for my upcoming turbo E30 out 3" oval pipe to help with ground clearance.
However, I still want to include at least one Vband style clamp for easy removal if need be for maintenance and such. Preferably two (one after the downpipe, one by the rear subframe).
Is there something like this out there? By google fu is weak on this one.
Never seen one, can't imagine it would seal very well. Just put the V band in the round part of the exhaust.
I don't know why the shape would matter if everything road is properly constructed.

Because tension makes a ring really want to be round.

A V- band clamp will work on an oval pipe. But who would make an oval connection?
If ground clearance is an issue, make the connection somewhere a round and normal connection can be made.
use a band clamp instead.
