Plan is to DD it until I can justify dropping 10 grand at once for an exocet kit and some minor upgrades in other areas? Also where should I check for rust on these things. Just bought a 1984 rabbit gti and the floor was completely shot out. Owner covered it up with rhino liner and fiberglass -.-.

Ideally looking around for a ready to drive car with less than 100k miles for under 3.5k. If anyone knows anyone, I'm looking with cash in hand near Tampa FL.

The car looks great. I love the color and wheels. However, I'd skip in in favor of a 1.8 car.

I see! Does the 1.8 offer anything other than just a bit more entertainment? I'm newb to miatas and their idiosyncrasies.

Not a bad deal, just a lot of miles.

I've had both and I love the 1.6. IMHO it revs better and the cars are a little lighter. I wouldn't pass on a nice 1.6. That looks clean. Check rocker drain holes with a thin wire.

Is 3000$ a good price range to be looking for this type of car? Or should I expect about 2500 after the haggling and stuff haha.
