In the first pic it looks cracked? Is it cracked? If it's cracked you can't use it. Otherwise, clean it up and have it re-surfaced and you should be good.

That looks cracked, badly, it's a doorstop after you torch the hub out for safety.
Agree with Bravenrace, I would not buy that flywheel based on picture #1.

I wouldn't buy it, but if you're so inclined, ask the seller to run it over to NAPA for a dye pen test. If it passes you buy it, but if it fails you walk.
Are they rare?
The backside looks cracked to me, unless that's just casting flash.
To find an oem style mr2 turbo flywheel is crazy rare. There is one on eBay. That's right. One. In the whole world. They don't sell OEM style anymore. The only 3sgte flywheel made anymore is a high dollar,bballer budget, ultralight, aluminum/unobtainium, Swiss cheese performance type.
Which is one of the only flywheels you can use for a 1uzfe swap. well... Light flywheels don't really match the torque band for the stock 1uz. Plus, I really want something I can drive around all day in traffic. Six puck, hella-light flywheel/clutch combos, need not apply.
