Seller said: A 1990- 735I BMW with a brand new transmission ($3800), a second engine ($3000), new clutch fan, fluid lines, and many electronic modules and filters. I have all the receipts. Lojack. Seats and rugs are in great condition. Feels and runs like new. No rust. Car is insured and registered and driven daily. Just replaced brake system and 4brand new tires. Please no sales reps, insurance brokers, traders, clowns, losers, nudies or bs artists. Asking $2995. I do not reply emails. Interested?

He "do not reply e-mails" but doesn't list a phone number?

edit: I also like the part where he mentions changing electronic filters (poor punctuation?).

you're supposed to use your geospatial analysis skills to determine, based on the details available in the background of the photo (house, fence, neighbor's car), where the seller lives, and then go visit him in person to let him know you're interested.

Only problem is that he also doesn't respond to doorbells or knocks on the door, so you have to find a more creative way to get his attention.

I'm interested in how he mounted that second engine.

Actually if you click on the "contact" button, you'll see his phone number in a drop down. Pretty new feature on CL.

To address the OP's question: The general population does stuff like pay people $7000 to fix cars worth 40% that much, and which don't even have numbers and SCCA or NASA stickers.
