We got a new ride for the wife! 2011 Mini Cooper S. We had been looking into a BRZ, but we decided it wasn't fiscally responsible. She'd been wanting one for years. We test drove 6 different cars before deciding on this one.
So excited. Can't wait to autocross it!
Reliability issues aside, you're hard pressed to find a more fun car- and they're great in the winter. Good on you, sir.
Thanks. More important that reliability issues is the fact that the woman loves it. We've still got a little bit left on the factory warranty, which I still can't wrap my head around.
It had a flat on the way home, and the dealership agreed to replace the tire for free. Pretty good service, IMO.
